Design will always have a special place in my heart.

I love its ability to convey a message outside the realm of writing. Ironic, coming from a journalist, right? Page design can draw readers into a piece before they’ve read a single word of copy, and that’s exciting to me. I designed these pages my junior and senior years in the journalism program at Rock Bridge High School as features editor, and then Co-Editor-In-Chief and commentaries editor.
