It’s a small world.

That’s what I thought when I found myself working in the studio inside the University of Missouri’s School of Journalism. I grew up watching Pepper and Friends, so when I had the chance to work with Paul Pepper and James Mouser, I jumped at the opportunity. Working at the show was a full circle moment for me. From 2018 to 2021, I worked as Floor Director, camerawoman and the occasional director at Radio Friends with Paul Pepper. Want to learn more about my experience at the show? My experience working on Paul’s show and a variety of productions at the Reynolds Journalism Institute helped me realize the value and importance of broadcast TV, and see my future within it. I now work at KCRG-TV9, an ABC station in Cedar Rapids, IA.
